I’m a left-brained creative.

After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, I discovered my interest in design. This unique background of science and art helps me create work with attention to both form and function.

Design tells stories. Whether it’s one of an individual, a business, or a movement, thoughtful and inspired graphic design allows us to express or accentuate these stories in meaningful ways.

I desire to use my skills to help others visually communicate their messages. I strive to bring concepts to life through clean layouts, intentional color choices, and impactful typography.

Along with a science background, I bring a variety of experiences to my design work, including time as a professional soccer player, nonprofit experience in Kenya, work as a backpacking guide in the Rocky Mountains, and the creativity of motherhood.

I had the pleasure of working with Emilee for more than a year at a boutique ad agency in Boulder. She is an extremely talented graphic designer whose professionalism and affable personality make her an absolute joy to work with. She delivers exceptional work and offers the ultimate in reliability, a trait that’s much needed when working with freelancers. I couldn’t recommend Emilee more highly. She’s everything I look for in design talent... highly skilled, personable and a sure thing!

Simply put, Emilee possesses skills that cannot be taught. When I saw her resume and how she evaluated herself (too low), and then saw her body of work (amazing), I was stunned. I have been in my field for more than three decades and I can count on one hand the designers I have worked with who can take minimal direction and deliver far beyond my expectations. If you are wanting a designer with strategic intuition and speed, look no further.
— Todd Clary, Gloo, Art Director
Emilee was my go-to designer for taking half-baked ideas and bringing them to life. She thrives on minimal direction, but also takes guidance well and works to spec. Truly, an ideal combination. On a series of digital training projects for various clients, she was able to quickly grasp the vision and bring forward new brand expressions. Her art is clean and creative, and I appreciate her ability to go minimal when the project calls for it.
